Hemisphere was founded by experienced travel professionals, Ed Burke and Rosie Kennedy, to act as a tour-operator for independent small travel businesses. We partner with some of the country's most respected travel designers, providing back office services, financial protection, support and collaboration. We pride ourselves on being efficient, trustworthy and always there to help.
ED BURKE & Rosie Kennedy
Founders Ed and Rosie have close to 40 years combined experience in the travel industry, with a breadth of worldwide destination knowledge. They’ve been running Seventy Ten Travel together since 2016, so know first hand what it’s like to launch and run a successful travel business. Ed mainly runs the systems and finance side, whilst Rosie manages the supplier and partner relations.
Origins
Over the last couple of years, many of the country's top travel experts have discovered the benefits of working in a more flexible environment, with small, independent brands taking centre stage alongside bigger tour operators. Realising that many of these seasoned, well-networked travel experts were looking to forge their own path but wanted robust back-office support and like-minded travel professionals to collaborate with, Seventy Ten started offering this service to a select few. As our community of Partners grew rapidly through word of mouth, we decided to formally launch a new host operator designed around true travel experts. Hemisphere was born.
