Travels with Alice

Alice’s love of big skies, wide open spaces and roads less-travelled has a lot to do with her slightly wild upbringing in rural Australia. After swapping country life for the bright lights of London, she embarked upon a solo trip from Kampala to Cape Town and realised she could make a career from her true passion — notably while working as a safari hostess for Norman Carr Safaris in Zambia. And, following a four year stint at luxury travel company, Black Tomato, she founded Travels with Alice (formerly Sally and Alice Travel Co). Thirteen years on, she still loves the thrill of planning trips for her clients, whilst discovering new destinations on her own travels, more recently with her husband and two young boys in tow.
