Jackie Devereux, originally from Zimbabwe, is the founder of Shona Travel, a bespoke travel company specializing in tailor-made itineraries to East and Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean. She has been in the travel industry since the 1990s, working with some of the UK’s leading luxury tour operators before she established her own company two years ago. Jackie’s passion for adventure has led her to climb Kilimanjaro, canoe the Zambezi, paraglide over Victoria Falls, and fly over the Skeleton Coast. In 2020, she was honoured as one of Condé Nast’s Top Travel Specialists, recognizing her expertise in curating exceptional and immersive travel experiences.
