Wild Beginnings Travel, based out of Kenya, is led by Jake Cook - a qualified nature guide, tracker, lodge manager, sommelier (and football coach!) with over 15 years of working in the luxury travel sector. Having managed 14 leading bush and beach camps/lodge across 8 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as outfitting high end journeys for renowned UK safari companies, his high standards of itinerary design and execution prioritise the luxury of space and quality of guiding. Just as importantly, are offerings of guest immersions into real-time community-conservation projects – ensuring every journey that departs doesn’t just authentically exhibit the wild, but actively protects it.
